Usage of Modern Methods for Increasing Reliability of Control System Implementations

At avionics control and critical systems is necessary guarantee a minimal level of fault tolerance and their high reliability. On the electronic components in these devices has an undesirable influence environment conditions and mainly cosmic ray. In this paper are described the most common failure types of semiconductor components and devices together with modern methods which can be increased the system fault tolerance and its overall reliability. There are introduced aspects of the avionic systems design due to finally certification and ways to evaluate its safety. This thesis describes design and implementation of the CAN bus control system for the FPGA platform which uses the CANAerospace application protocol. Created system design is improved by the TMR architecture. Fault tolerance of both system version is tested by the SEU framework which allows using the dynamic partial reconfiguration generate an SEU failures into running FPGA design.

This work deals with an examination of strategic management of the engineering company První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, Inc., concretely the management of the Aircraft Technique Division. Production program is focused on aircraft engineering and equipment. Strategic management is valued by strategic analysis which is focused on analyze of the factors of inside and outside surroundings. The following confrontation of the factors made possible to formulate some strategy suggestions which would enable to fix and strengthen the company position in the market.

This thesis deals with issues of maintenance procedures and the repairing of aerospace technology up to the mid-weight class. The maintenance procedures are focused on the basic parts of aircraft technology and systems which are the most important for maintenance, repair and service. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses aerospace technology with regard to the legislative regulations which is essential for maintenance and the technical staff has to be familiar with it. The practical part of the thesis is focused on repairs and service of particular parts of aircraft and helicopter systems. This part includes some proposals for improvement and knowledges of technical expertness for aviation branch.
